Bonsai Wiring & Bending
Bonsai wire is used for bending and manipulating bonsai branches into desired positions.
Most people recommend using wire between 1/3 and 1/2 the thickness of the branch you want to bend / manipulate.
Guy wires are also very useful for bending branches into position.
Wire is also used for securing trees into their pots and securing drainage mesh into the bottom of pots. We currently stock aliminium wire in various sizes. We have 100 gram & 500 gram rolls in sizes 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 6mm.
Our jacks and branch bending tools can be useful for bigger or more awkward bends on thicker branches.
