Outdoor Evergreen
Bonsai Tree

A stunning informal upright Juniper (Itoigawa) bonsai tree. A very healthy tree. This tree was imported from Japan this year (2015). It has heaps of characters. A stunning Shari that looks very natural. It has some nice Jinn's too. This tree was given its first initial styling by Harry Harrington (Bonsai4Me, Bonsai Inspirations) and myself at the start of autumn. The tree is fully wired and that should be left on as long as possible. The tree will benefit from a rest period after this work. Next season can be spent developing the pads further and keeping the growth on the apex under control, maybe opening a few more spaces in the apex. The branches look very naturally placed and the way the lower branches hang down looks very natural & mature. This tree has had a lot of time spent on development here and in Japan. The pads have been wired to encourage back budding in the forks of branches. This will help to develop lighter thinner more refined natural looking pads. We have some pictures before the work was completed if you wanted to see them. A new pot would set this tree off.
